The late Dr. Barun Sarkar
Senior Obstetrician & Gynaecologist
The late Dr. Barun Sarkar was a widely respected obstetrician and gynaecologist whose career spanned 52 years. He served as a Head of Department at S. N. Medical College, Agra, and was known across the city for his expertise in high-risk obstetrics and women’s health.
He helped build the hospital’s focus on maternal care — the care for mothers and babies that still defines Sarkar Hospital today. His son, Dr. Debashish Sarkar, leads the hospital today.
